Responsibilities
Collaborate with the VP, Media Relations and Investor Relations team on the development and drafting of earnings releases, prepared remarks, call scripts, investor Q&A documents, and follow-up media engagement
Build and maintain relationships with top-tier financial and business journalists, proactively positioning VERSANT’s strategy and results in the marketplace
Ensure all financial communications adhere to SEC rules, Regulation FD, and industry best practices
Support investor days, analyst meetings, and industry conferences by crafting narratives, speeches, and media framing that reinforce VERSANT's financial and strategic story
Monitor analyst coverage, peer communications, and media sentiment; synthesize insights into actionable reporting for senior leadership
Qualification
Required
8-10 years experience in corporate communications, financial communications, investor relations, or related fields
Direct experience supporting a publicly traded company (in-house or agency side)
Deep understanding of financial statements, KPIs, capital markets, and disclosure practices
Proven ability to translate complex financial information into clear, compelling, and compliant communications for investors, analysts, and media
Demonstrated success building strong relationships with top-tier business and financial journalists
Strong writing, editing, and messaging skills across press releases, executive remarks, and media Q&As
Experience navigating SEC disclosure rules, Regulation FD, and governance-related communications
