LHH is seeking a Junior Accountant to support all phases of accounting and finance activities. This role is critical in ensuring accurate financial reporting, strong internal controls, and effective operational support.

Human Resources

Responsibilities

Prepare and post journal entries, including debits and credits

Assist with weekly income statement estimates and reporting

Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities

Analyze general ledger accounts and prepare supporting schedules

Track and analyze inventory variances; participate in quarterly inventory counts

Maintain required corporate and local financial reporting

Assist with annual financial planning, including capital budgets

Support product costing activities

Assist with compliance related to SOX, internal audits, and inventory management

Provide guidance to bakery and sales stakeholders on proper accounting practices

Develop working knowledge of all plant accounting functions to provide coverage when needed

Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety standards

Perform additional duties as assigned by management
