Responsibilities

Perform NDT inspections, test & calibration
Evaluate the results of all inspections performed using NDT processes to the level of certification held
Maintain accurate records of inspection for all NDT processes
Perform process checks/audits on all materials and equipment used in NDT
Support and follow all rules/guidelines/standards set by EHS, Quality, and CI functions as set by your leader and position
Over 40 hours per week as scheduled to meet business needs
All other duties as assigned including working extended shifts/overtime as required by the business

Required

Typically requires HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g. G.E.D. in the US) or vocational/technical education in related discipline with a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience
Ability to obtain internal Level II FPI and X-ray certification required

Preferred

Associate's degree preferred
2+ years experience in related area (Aerospace preferred)
ASNT certification preferred
Previous experience with braze and weld joints
Basic understanding of detailed prints and specifications
Basic understanding of non-destructive inspection techniques
Basic working knowledge of shop floor equipment (setup, cleaning, operation)
Basic computer skills (Window based software, Word, Excel, etc.)
Basic math skills
Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of employees and management
