5+ years expLHH is a dynamic manufacturing organization seeking an experienced Cost Accounting Manager. This role is critical in managing accounting activities with a focus on cost accounting, financial oversight, and compliance with GAAP standards.

Responsibilities
Oversee cost accounting processes, including compiling cost data and maintaining expense records in MRP/ERP systems
Prepare monthly financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, cash flow)
Maintain the general ledger, record journal entries, and ensure timely month-end close
Manage accounts payable and receivable, including invoice coding, reconciliations, and collections
Reconcile bank accounts, verify deposits, and forecast weekly cash requirements
Analyze and report profit margins, inventory, and WIP balances
Support month-end and year-end closings and produce weekly/monthly metrics reports
Recommend process improvements for reporting and analysis
Perform additional accounting and financial duties as needed
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
Minimum 5 years of accounting experience in manufacturing
Strong knowledge of cost accounting principles and GAAP
Proficiency with MRP/ERP systems and advanced Microsoft Excel skills
Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Excellent communication and ability to work cross-functionally
