Responsibilities
Perform all variable and attribute inspections and first piece inspection as well as all applicable test procedures for all products
Interpret basic EFD blueprint dimensions/notes specific to the parts being inspected
Package, weigh and label product and record amounts accepted and rejected
Perform measurements properly using stationary measuring equipment (optical comparators, air-gauging, etc), luer gages, go/no go pins, digital calipers, tensile tester and other equipment
Properly Care for measuring and test equipment
Determine acceptability of product utilizing EFD workmanship standards and related procedures
Disposition product as approved or rejected
Sort and rework as needed
Document all inspection findings in Microsoft Word and/or Excel
Perform all functional testing as required
Interpret basic X and R charts used to plot and track product data, record results and document adjustments, comments
Cross training and willingness to work in other areas as needed
Performs all other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or general equivalent diploma (GED)
1-2 years of prior QA experience or has worked as a QA Inspector I for a minimum of 3 months
Basic math skills
Ability to speak, read, write English
Ability to work with others in a team environment
