Responsibilities

Grow Kinder Morgan’s Northwest Louisiana gathering and gas treating business by developing and negotiating opportunities and projects
Facilitate constant and necessary communication between customers and inter-company departments
Monitor the gathering system’s daily nominations, treating capacity setpoints, and pipeline activities to provide primary guidance to Gas Control, Scheduling, and Operations
Generate prospects, lead negotiations, develop economic evaluations, creative problem solving, prepare management presentations, and present investment opportunities to senior management
Develop and negotiate commercial terms for revenue generating agreements for treating facilities and gathering pipelines
Identify and develop capital expansion opportunities (define scope, coordinate preparation of cost estimates, prepare economic analysis, etc.)
Develop and maintain close business relationships with existing or potential customers and other key industry representatives
Work closely and regularly with Operations, Engineering, Project Management, Legal, Financial Forecasting, Gas Supply/Marketing/Optimization, Business Development, Contract Administration and Scheduling
Perform other duties as assigned

Required

Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, Engineering, Finance or Accounting - experience in lieu of degree may be considered
A minimum of 5 years of diverse and progressively responsible industry related experience
Ability to develop contractual framework for formal agreements
General understanding of pipeline and processing operations including basic technical design, quality parameters, hydraulics and scheduling functions
Must have well developed oral and written communication, interpersonal, negotiation, and presentation skills
Advanced proficiency level in MS Office applications including Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
Advanced proficiency level in MS Office Excel; including experience with economic modeling and data analysis
Must be able to analyze all aspects of a proposed commercial transaction (financial, contractual, legal, operational and marketing)
Must be self-motivated and capable of performing tasks with minimal supervision
Must be articulate, work well under pressure and be consistently able to meet deadlines
Must be flexible and able to work effectively with a multi-disciplined team, handle multiple priorities simultaneously, focus attention on details, and follow work rules
Excellent negotiating and interpersonal skills required
