Systems Engineer Intern
Plug Power Inc. is actively seeking a highly motivated student to join our team. In this role, you will assist in various initiatives and projects while gaining exposure to a fast-paced manufacturing and engineering environment.

Responsibilities
Develop and maintain recordkeeping requirements and documentation controls to ensure compliance with functional safety standards and audit readiness
Support the development and documentation of safety lifecycle activities in accordance with IEC 61511, including hazard analysis, safety requirement definition, and verification tracking
Assist engineers with validation, testing, and safety case documentation to ensure design compliance and traceability across functional safety deliverables
Gain a foundational understanding of industry standards, regulations, and best practices in manufacturing and technology
Develop effective communication skills by collaborating with team members and presenting findings to different stakeholders
Qualification
Required
Pursuing a Bachelor of Science, Master's or PhD degree with majors including chemical mechanical or industrial
Must have reliable transportation to the office
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Possess solid hands-on approach to problem-solving
Demonstrated analytical abilities with strong attention to detail
Excellent follow-through
Must be driven and self-motivated
