Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive bookkeeping tasks, including managing accounts payable and accounts receivable

Conduct thorough bank reconciliations to maintain accurate financial records

Oversee month-end closing processes and ensure timely completion of financial statements

Review and clean up financial records from the past four months to ensure data accuracy

Utilize Sage 50 software to manage and update accounting information

Prepare and close books efficiently, ensuring compliance with industry standards

Collaborate with team members to address discrepancies and streamline processes

Generate detailed financial reports and summaries for management review

Maintain organized and accessible financial documentation for audit purposes

Qualification

Required

Minimum of 3 years of experience in full charge bookkeeping or a related role

Strong understanding of accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes

Demonstrated expertise in performing bank reconciliations and month-end close tasks

Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills

Ability to analyze financial data and resolve discrepancies effectively

Excellent communication skills to collaborate with team members and stakeholders

Preferred

Proficiency in Sage accounting software is preferred, however, open to other accounting systems
