Responsibilities

Lead the company’s senior management team to develop and maintain a technical & product vision for the company. Identify opportunities and risks for delivering the company’s services through technology and innovation. Assess obstacles and technical hurdles to success and recommend solutions
Develop strategic plans and implement the objectives of the information technology requirements of the company to ensure the computer capabilities are responsive to the needs of the Company's growth and objectives. Establish and implement short and long-term departmental goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures
Lead technology & business planning, project management and business analysis to achieve business goals by identifying and prioritizing development initiatives and setting timetables for the evaluation, development, and deployment of all technology-based services
Develop enterprise objectives and budgets to facilitate the orderly and efficient capture, storage, processing, and dissemination of information
Lead infrastructure & network teams ensuring high availability, security and scalability. Implement cloud solutions and evaluate solutions that expand the reach of the organization
Position the company through cutting-edge software, and other enterprise-wide applications and their alignment with the strategic direction of the business. Define IT architecture & set vision for software development teams to ensure projects are delivered in a timely manner with expected user functionality and reliability
Identify, evaluate, and execute new and innovative solutions and technologies that have proven results in the market pertaining to profitability, competitive advantage, cost savings, and ability to positively scale the IT department with company growth
Establish and maintain a suitable information security posture of all technology systems
Responsible for the development, review, and certification of all back-up, business continuity, and disaster recovery procedures and plans
Accountable for deliverables to department managers on internal and external operations that are impacted by the capture, storage, processing, and dissemination of information
Evaluate overall operations and information technology functions and recommend enhancements
Responsible for overseeing a department of 20+ direct reports, collaborating with Global CIO and matrixed resources

Required

Proven track record of developing a technology vision aligned with the business, managing and leading a large IT Department, with a role inclusive of external customer facing responsibilities
Experience implementing rigor in process and methodology to build products & services in a high-growth environment
Minimum of ten years' experience in a senior IT leadership role, with responsibility for budgets, information, visionary leadership and security/compliance
Experience developing and deploying software development projects with demonstrated success and growth. Knowledge of a broad range of architectures
Experience with project management to include planning, scheduling, resource allocation, cost analysis and technological tradeoffs
Proven history of change management & driving efficiencies. Solid understanding of business stakeholder management
Demonstrated ability to drive a large IT organization that has a positive impact on revenue, costs, retention, productivity, and communications with business units
Proven ability in P&L responsibility, establishing IT metrics and goals, and reporting. Experience obtaining buy-in from IT teams and managing outcomes
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or a related field, or possess significant equivalent experience
Exceptional interpersonal skills in order to effectively communicate with a wide range of personnel at all levels
Requires professional written and verbal communications. Ability to motivate teams to produce quality results within tight timeframes and simultaneously manage several projects

Preferred

An MBA or related Master's Degree preferred
Process Management proficiency, Six Sigma or similar discipline desired
Prior experience in a financial services industry desired
Product development experience highly desired
