Responsibilities
Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems for residential and commercial applications
Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform necessary repairs
Ensure compliance with all relevant codes and regulations, including the NEC
Collaborate with other tradespeople, such as carpenters, to complete projects
Perform frame carpentry work as needed for electrical installations
Install and program logic controllers for automation systems
Handle low voltage systems, such as security and fire alarm systems
Qualification
Required
Journeyman Electrician license required
Minimum of 2 years, preference for 5+ years of experience as an electrician
Proficiency in blueprint reading and interpreting electrical plans
Strong knowledge of electrical systems and components
Familiarity with logic controllers and their programming
Ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical issues efficiently and effectively
Experience working on renovation projects is a plus
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Prolonged periods standing, kneeling, bending, and climbing ladders or scaffolding
Must be physically capable of pulling wires and cables through conduits
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time
