Responsibilities
Reads and follows specific instructions given on shop packets
Utilizes basic technology to accurately document work processes such as the check out and in of work orders and/or materials
Accurately counts and coordinates materials required to produce each order according to specifications
Utilize a wide variety of hand tools requiring manual dexterity and constant grip including scissors and cutting tools, staplers and attachment tools, shrink wrap and packaging tools, stickering and labeling tools, and other specialty tools
Packages and labels a variety of products based on customer specifications
Performs general housekeeping and department six sigma activities
Adheres to all Department and Company Standards, Operating Procedures and Safety Requirements
Treats others with respect and conducts themselves in a positive and inclusive manner daily
Performs other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Close attention to detail
Understand written instruction
Complete basic technology applications / basic computer aptitude
Good hand dexterity
Ability to complete repetitive hand assembly tasks
Ability to read shop packets and follow instruction
Ability to count accurately and perform simple math functions
Ability to inspect materials and finished products for defects
Ability to lift 25 lbs
Ability to participate in a team lift of 30 lbs
Able to sit or stand for entire shift
Able to turn or bend
Able to grip/grasp continuously
Able to push a cart occasionally
