8+ years expIntagHire is seeking a Senior Data Architect to support a high-visibility initiative for a large enterprise client. This role will be responsible for defining and guiding data architecture that supports cloud-based business applications with external touchpoints.

Responsibilities
Define and own enterprise and application-level data architecture for cloud-hosted platforms
Lead architectural decisions related to structured data models and relational systems
Establish and maintain data standards, schemas, and governance practices
Partner closely with Senior Data Engineers to translate architecture into implementation
Design data models optimized for performance, scalability, and reliability
Support integrations with downstream systems and external-facing consumers
Ensure architecture aligns with security, compliance, and enterprise best practices
Contribute to architectural documentation, reviews, and long-term roadmap planning
Qualification
Required
8+ years of experience in data architecture or related senior technical roles
Deep expertise in structured data systems and relational design
Hands-on experience with Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server
Proven experience designing data architectures for cloud-based applications
Strong understanding of data modeling, normalization, and data governance
Cloud platform experience required (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
Preferred
Google Cloud Platform (GCP) experience strongly preferred
Experience working in large-scale, enterprise, or regulated environments
Exposure to unstructured data platforms is a plus, but not required
Experience supporting platforms used by external stakeholders or partners
