Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications and microservices
Work with cross-functional teams to implement solutions following Agile/Scrum methodologies
Build and integrate RESTful APIs and collaborate on API gateway, API design, and API coding activities
Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues in a timely manner
Apply test-driven development (TDD) practices and support CI/CD automation
Ensure high standards of code quality, performance, and security
Qualification
Required
5+ years of progressive software development experience
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent work experience
Strong hands-on experience with Python and related frameworks (Django, Flask, FastAPI preferred)
Experience building microservices and distributed systems
Strong knowledge of RESTful API development and API integration
Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, etc.)
Familiarity with API gateways, API design patterns, and API best practices
Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum preferred)
Ability to analyze and troubleshoot production issues
Knowledge of TDD, unit testing, and CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI, Jenkins, etc.)
A strong security-first mindset in coding and system design
