Responsibilities
Collaborate with IT partners to design and embed security frameworks into new and existing technology solutions, acting as a lead consultant for secure application migrations
Develop and maintain security reference architectures and strategic roadmaps, ensuring alignment with corporate policies and emerging industry threats
Provide expert advisory services on Cyber Security Tooling, assessing residual risk of identified threats and championing the use of defensive technologies
Ensure strict adherence to regulatory requirements including PCI-DSS, SOX, GLBA, and GDPR, leveraging frameworks such as NIST 800-53 and ISO 27001
Create secure patterns for hybrid-cloud and multi-cloud environments, utilizing cloud-native tools like AWS GuardDuty and Azure Security Center
Lead process improvement initiatives to ensure consistent delivery of security consulting across the enterprise
Qualification
Required
10+ years of professional experience in Information Security, with at least 5-8 years in a dedicated Architecture or Design role
3+ years of hands-on experience architecting security for AWS and Microsoft Azure, including exposure to container orchestration (Docker/Kubernetes)
Deep background in PCI-DSS compliance and IT audit, with advanced knowledge of the NIST-CSF and FFIEC Cyber Assessment Tool
Strong understanding of Networking, Encryption/Key Management, IAM, and the secure Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
Bachelor's degree
Preferred
Industry certifications such as CISSP, CRISC, or AWS/Azure Security are highly preferred
