Creating and entering journal entries for the monthly financial close process
Assisting staff account in daily tasks
Reconciling general ledger accounts
File State Sales and use tax returns
Completing ad hoc analytical projects and tasks as requested by senior management
Representative McCoy Construction & Forestry in a professional manner always
Maintain regular onsite attendance
Any other duties as delegated by senior management
Qualification
Required
Performing accounting and administrative functions to ensure consistency in reporting and compliance with accounting principles
Creating and entering journal entries for the monthly financial close process
Assisting staff account in daily tasks
Reconciling general ledger accounts
File State Sales and use tax returns
Completing ad hoc analytical projects and tasks as requested by senior management
Representing McCoy Construction & Forestry in a professional manner always
Maintaining regular onsite attendance
Any other duties as delegated by senior management
Preferred
Preferred candidates will possess a 2-year college degree in accounting, finance, or related business discipline or equivalent experience
Previous experience of 1-3 years as an accounting assistant or related experience
Keen attention to detail and the ability to manage a fast-paced workflow are critical to success in this position
Ability to work with confidential information and maintain confidentiality
