Mystic Lake Casino Hotel is looking for high-level technical engineers to join their AV tech crew. The Senior AV Technician will provide planning, oversight, system design, setup, operation, and technical support of multimedia equipment for audio-visual events, ensuring optimal performance for various events.

Responsibilities

Setup, Operate, maintain, distribute and configures various audio-visual equipment while ensuring optimal performance. Fulfills requests for use of audiovisual equipment in convention rooms/spaces

Participate in event related stage, room and location build outs for conventions, weddings, marketing, promotions, and entertainment related endeavors. Work with end users and event leads to ensure the audio-visual requirements for their events are met

Actively help to assess audio-visual related needs, research and present purchase and/or rental solutions for consideration

Perform as the senior AV team member for event coordination with our AV team, Banquets and the client when needed and appropriate

Operate audio mixers, video switchers/encoders and lighting consoles for conference sessions, live performances and events

Train inter-departmental staff and end-users on the setup, operation and maintenance of all relevant audio visual equipment and processes

Help to assess and plan for upcoming event setups & build outs

Work with end users to ensure the audio visual requirements for their events are met, hands over equipment to designated person and trains as needed

Train department peers and end users in operation of audio visual equipment

Assist with the assessment, management and maintaining of departmental inventory of equipment, parts, cables, converters, consumables and etc. to assure availability of these items as they are needed

Assist/participate in marketing projects as needed

Assisting other staff within the Marketing & Entertainment department with AV related tasks

Provide work direction to AV Technicians and assist the AV Supervisor with training and onboarding of new team members
