Accounts Receivable Specialist

Parker Laboratories Inc. is a leading global medical products company, and they are seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist to manage day-to-day accounts receivable activities. This role involves payment processing, collections, account reconciliation, and customer billing support while collaborating closely with various departments to ensure accurate records and timely payments.

Responsibilities

Process daily deposits and apply customer payments, including checks, ACH, wire transfers, and credit card transactions
Reconcile customer accounts, monitor aging reports, and contact customers via phone or email regarding overdue invoices
Investigate and resolve billing and payment discrepancies by reviewing documentation and issuing adjustments as appropriate
Respond to customer inquiries related to invoices, statements, and billing concerns
Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounts receivable records and serve as a primary contact for billing and payment inquiries
Perform A/R aging reconciliations to support month-end and quarterly reporting
Collaborate with Sales and Customer Service to streamline accounting processes and resolve customer issues
Work with the International Department to manage outstanding international receivables, including participation in weekly meetings to review overdue accounts
Maintain GPO discounts, update annual price increases in X-3, and manage incentives, rebates, allowances, and discounts per customer agreements
Process and verify credit applications, conduct credit reference checks, and maintain W-9 documentation
Assist Accounts Payable with checks, filing, and other accounting-related tasks as needed

Required

Associate's degree in accounting or related field OR minimum of four (4) years of Accounts Receivable experience
Experience with ERP/accounting systems (X-3 preferred)
Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills
