The role involves overseeing order processing, inventory control, and transportation decisions, while also managing facility operations and ensuring site safety.

Responsibilities

Lead a team of DC associates in all general Distribution Center (DC) activities
Oversee day to day order processing, inventory control, and transportation decisions
Manage facility operations, expense control, site safety and security
Work closely with local and national sales teams in a time-sensitive environment
Train and develop people in a fast-paced work environment

Qualification

Distribution leadership experienceWMSTMS proficiencyCarrier selection experienceForklift operationSales team collaborationMechanical troubleshootingBilingualCommunication skillsOrganizational skills

Required

Minimum 7 to 10 years distribution experience in a leadership role
Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills - must be detail oriented
Prior experience working closely with a sales team
Must be mechanically inclined enough to troubleshoot minor equipment issues
Carrier selection and freight tendering experience
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Prior experience using WMS, TMS, and Microsoft Office software
A calm, level-headed demeanor and positive attitude when dealing with stressful situations

Preferred

Bachelor's Degree with focus on Supply Chain and/or logistics
Military training and/or experience
Bilingual
