HR Systems & Payroll Analyst
The University of East London (UEL) is dedicated to changing lives through education and is seeking an HR Systems and Payroll Analyst to contribute to the design, implementation, and improvement of HR systems and payroll processes. The role involves ensuring data integrity, supporting payroll activities, and providing guidance on best practices in HR systems.

Responsibilities
Design, implement, maintain, and continuously improve system and process solutions
Improve data integrity through operational reporting
Focus on improvements in Payroll system setup and delivery
Support reward activities more generally
Provide advice and guidance on best practice use of our HR System
Identify solutions to any problems that arise
Conduct Business Objects reporting to support data validation processes
Qualification
Required
Proven relevant background with iTrent experience
Expert understanding of transactional HR and Payroll processes
Strong analytical and business process knowledge
Excellent attention to detail
Demonstrable ability to work cross functionally/divisionally with other staff
Ability to deliver on continuous improvement projects within an agreed timeframe
Used to working without close supervision
Expert in MHR iTrent, in particular the Payroll module
Intermediate SQL understanding
Adept at Business Objects reporting to support data validation processes
