Extell Financial Services, Inc. provides financial accounting and HR services for Extell Development Company. The Benefits Assistant will support benefits administration, assist employees with inquiries, and ensure compliance with regulations related to employee benefits.

Responsibilities

Assist in the administration of health, dental, vision, disability, life insurance and 401(k) retirement plans

Process monthly billings from insurance carriers including providing cost allocations and reconciliations to accounting

Administer Leave of Absences (FMLA/Disability/Paid Family Leave) for all corporate entities as well as union buildings

Respond to employee inquiries and escalate complex issues as needed

Support annual open enrollment to include setting up benefit plans, rates, employee communication and other relevant information into the company’s HRIS system

Help maintain compliance with COBRA, HIPAA, FMLA, ACA, ERISA and other regulations

Perform other duties as assigned
