Responsibilities
Design and optimize warehouse layouts to maximize space utilization and streamline workflows
Analyze logistics operations and recommend process and system improvements
Lead the evaluation, selection, implementation, and continuous improvement of warehouse automation technologies
Collaborate cross-functionally to align automation initiatives with overall operational strategy and business goals
Build and maintain relationships with automation OEMs, vendors, and technology partners
Support capital investment planning, including asset purchases and expense justifications for warehouse operations
Travel approximately 50%, including visits to facilities and vendor/OEM sites
Frequently stand and walk while working within facilities
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field
Strong project engineering background required
5+ years of experience in manufacturing and/or warehousing
Proficient in process mapping, statistical analysis, and data visualization
Demonstrated skills in project leadership, organization, and communication
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a continuous improvement mindset
Ability to work effectively both independently and within cross-functional teams
Preferred
Hands-on experience with robotics, material handling systems, and warehouse automation strongly preferred
Lean/Six Sigma certification is a plus
