The Inventory Accounting Manager will oversee the end-to-end inventory process, ensuring financial accuracy and operational efficiency across various channels. This role requires collaboration with multiple departments to maintain precise inventory accounting and compliance.

Responsibilities

Own the end-to-end accounting, valuation, and reporting of inventory across our retail, wholesale, and e-commerce channels

Lead the monthly inventory accounting close, including roll-forwards, gross margin analysis, and PPV analysis with high-speed accuracy

Partner with our IT teams to automate systems and find scalable, tech-forward solutions for inventory tracking

Work cross-functionally with FP&A, Merchandising, and AP to ensure landed costs, rebates, and freight are recorded with precision

Maintain a "Helmet On" approach to risk by developing consistent accounting policies and leading the charge on annual audit requests

Monitor system reports and sub-ledgers to investigate discrepancies, ensuring our financial data is as reliable as the bikes we ride

Required

You hold a CPA license and bring 5+ years of accounting experience

You have experience in retail, eCommerce, or consumer products

You have a deep understanding of inventory accounting and systems

You are a power user in Excel and feel right at home navigating complex databases

You thrive in fast-paced environments, managing multiple priorities with a Keep It Real communication style

Preferred

Experience with JD Edwards or RetailPro is a major plus, but not a dealbreaker
