Neighborly is a hub of service brands connecting customers to local experts for home and business services. They are seeking a Cloud Engineer to manage AWS infrastructure, evolve CI/CD strategies, and automate cloud account management.

Responsibilities

Manage and build out our core AWS infrastructure including our network architecture and EKS clusters

Evolve our IaC CI/CD strategy and tooling

Automate the spin up of entire AWS accounts

Tighten access levels across infrastructure with Security

Work and train team members on Terraform and AWS best practices

Required

At least 3 years of relevant experience either in an Engineering role focused on cloud technologies or as an SRE or similar role focused on operational support for production workloads in the cloud

Experience with IaC platforms such as CloudFormation or Terraform

Hands on application of Configuration Management to live production instances

Understanding of SQL Infrastructure

Have developed DR plans / strategies

A keen awareness of monitoring and cost optimization

Kubernetes experience is a bonus

5 or more years of professional IT experience in large scale environments with hands on experience in the technologies, skills, and processes listed above
