Responsibilities
Build and maintain GitHub Actions pipelines optimized for large multi-service deployments
Architect Continuous Delivery flows using AWS CodeDeploy and related AWS services
Lead container orchestration using AWS ECS, including manifest and deployment strategy design
Implement and manage Infrastructure-as-Code using CDK for Terraform
Partner with solution architects and engineering leads to shape platform direction
Improve system reliability, observability, and release consistency
Drive DRY, minimalistic CI/CD designs that reduce operational overhead
Mentor junior DevOps and software engineers in DevOps best practices
Communicate DevOps priorities and tradeoffs clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders
Qualification
Required
5–8+ years in DevOps/SRE/platform engineering roles
Strong command of: Docker/Linux containers
AWS services (ECS, EC2, CodeDeploy, IAM, VPC, CloudWatch)
GitHub Actions or similar CI/CD tools
Networking fundamentals in distributed systems
Shell scripting (Bash/POSIX)
Blue-Green or similar progressive delivery techniques
Solid understanding of package and dependency management (e.g., NPM)
Preferred
Experience with Jira, Scrum, or Kanban workflows
High-availability architecture design
DNS/edge networking familiarity
Exposure to FinOps or cloud cost governance
