Responsibilities

Perform Tier‑2 corrosion inspections and comprehensive nose‑to‑tail maintenance on F‑35 airframes

Diagnose, repair, and return aircraft to airworthy condition, increasing availability for the Dutch customer

Make timely, independent decisions on maintenance actions while adhering to safety and regulatory standards

Support and augment the Aeronautics Field Sustainment training team during on‑site training operations

Operate within the Interim Contractor Support (ICS) framework, collaborating with cross‑functional teams at Volkel

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access

The selected candidate must possess an active Secret clearance to start

Regularly required to lift up to 50 pounds and perform repetitive movements

Work overhead, use hands to grasp, handle, and/or feel, reach with hands and arms

Frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, squat, crawl, and twist

Lead nose‑to‑tail maintenance on F‑35 airframes

Perform Tier‑2 corrosion inspections and comprehensive nose‑to‑tail maintenance on F‑35 airframes

Diagnose, repair, and return aircraft to airworthy condition, increasing availability for the Dutch customer
