They are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Underwriting Processing Assistant to support underwriting and brokering teams by processing high-risk insurance applications and ensuring compliance with policies and regulations.

Responsibilities
Review applications, ACORD forms, and quotes for accuracy and compliance
Document and process binding orders and policy issuances promptly
Manage inspection reviews and ensure reports meet underwriting requirements
Oversee surplus lines tax filing to ensure compliance with state regulations
Handle inspection orders, endorsements, and cancellations efficiently
Assist in gathering information from brokers and partners
Address underwriting issues during the policy issuance process proactively
Support the claims process as needed
Ensure the accuracy of accounts within the CRM system
Track and complete tasks to enhance workflow and productivity
Adhere to established processing procedures
Work closely with other departments to achieve shared goals
Actively participate in team initiatives to improve service delivery and efficiency
Qualification
Required
Motivated and detail-oriented
Experience in processing and managing high-risk insurance applications
Knowledge of compliance with company policies and governmental regulations
Excellent service skills for retail brokers and customers
Ability to review applications, ACORD forms, and quotes for accuracy and compliance
Experience in documenting and processing binding orders and policy issuances promptly
Ability to manage inspection reviews and ensure reports meet underwriting requirements
Knowledge of surplus lines tax filing to ensure compliance with state regulations
Efficient handling of inspection orders, endorsements, and cancellations
Ability to assist in gathering information from brokers and partners
