Responsibilities

Manage professional level accounting functions and the preparation of reports including earnings, profits/losses, cash balances, and cost accounting

Manages daily cash position and cash forecasting processes

Confirms accuracy of operating and financial reports

Advises upper management regarding matters, such as effective use of resources and methods, for preventing capital being frozen

Interprets accounts and records to upper management

Analyzes records of present and past operations, trends and costs, revenues, commitments, and obligations incurred

Develops, installs, and maintains budgeting systems that provide control of expenses

Documents financial transactions by preparing general ledger account entries and by maintaining records and files, reconciling accounts, and analyzing account information

Reconciles balance sheet and select income statement accounts along with accounting system modules/subsidiary ledgers to the general ledger

Ensures that daily operational (Purchasing, Accounts Receivable Billing, Cash Receipts and Disbursements and Payroll) financial transactions are correct

Prepares for ISO 9001 and other audits
