In this role, you’ll build tools and infrastructure that enable the Mission Planning team to analyze data, iterate quickly, and improve routing behavior.

Responsibilities
Investigate complex navigation and routing scenarios, determine root causes, and engineer solutions that optimize autonomous vehicle mission performance
Build tools and automation to accelerate analysis—starting with manual workflows and progressively evolving them into scalable, repeatable systems
Develop mission planning algorithms, including graph search techniques and integration with behavioral planning components
Collaborate closely with cross-functional engineering teams to ensure seamless integration of software components
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in engineering, mathematics, or a related field
6+ years of industry experience working within large, production-level codebases
Strong proficiency in TypeScript, JavaScript, and one or more frontend frameworks/libraries (e.g., React, Vue.js, Angular)
Basic proficiency in C++
Experience working in Linux environments and with systems programming concepts
Experience developing across database, frontend, and backend systems
Experience with build systems, version control, and modern testing methodologies
Preferred
Understanding and experience with graph search techniques such as A*, D*, or Dijkstra
Strong proficiency in C++
