User Acquisition Manager
Headlight is a full-stack performance marketing agency focused on helping apps scale efficiently and profitably. The User Acquisition Manager will be responsible for driving mobile acquisition strategy and execution across high-growth app clients, focusing on installs, downstream value, and profitable growth.

Responsibilities
Own mobile user acquisition strategy across platforms including Meta, TikTok, Google UAC, Apple Search Ads, Snap, and emerging channels
Plan, launch, and optimize campaigns to drive installs and high-LTV users across iOS and Android
Translate client business goals into mobile acquisition strategies aligned to CAC, LTV, payback, and retention targets
Partner closely with Creative to develop, test, and iterate on mobile-first creative concepts at speed
Leverage advanced optimization tactics such as value bidding, event optimization, cohort analysis, and creative testing frameworks
Monitor and analyze performance across the funnel—from install through post-install events—identifying opportunities to scale or course-correct
Navigate privacy-first measurement challenges, including SKAN, consent frameworks, modeled conversions, and MMP limitations
Design and interpret experiments such as A/B tests, incrementality tests, geo-lifts, and creative holdouts
Clearly communicate performance, insights, and recommendations to clients and internal stakeholders
Stay ahead of platform changes, mobile UA best practices, and evolving attribution methodologies
Qualification
Required
3–6+ years of mobile user acquisition experience focused on scaling consumer apps
Deep hands-on experience managing mobile campaigns across major UA platforms (Meta, TikTok, Google UAC, Apple Search Ads)
Strong understanding of mobile attribution and measurement, including MMPs (AppsFlyer, Adjust), SKAN, and post-install event optimization
Proven ability to scale spend while maintaining or improving efficiency metrics (CPI, CPA, CAC, ROAS, payback)
Comfort working with cohort-based performance analysis and imperfect data
Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel/Sheets and experience working with BI tools or dashboards
Creative curiosity—able to translate performance data into clear creative insights and testing directions
Experience managing multiple clients or apps simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
Clear communicator who can explain complex performance dynamics simply and confidently
