Responsibilities

Serve as a primary point of contact for patients, healthcare providers, and insurance companies

Help patients navigate the specialty pharmacy process and understand steps required to access medications

Respond to patient inquiries with professionalism, empathy, and accuracy

Perform insurance verification, prior authorizations, copay assistance, and financial assistance coordination

Enter and maintain accurate prescription and patient data in pharmacy management systems

Request new prescriptions and obtain clarifications from prescribers under pharmacist supervision

Coordinate with partner pharmacies, providers, and internal teams to ensure timely medication access

Maintain detailed and compliant documentation of patient interactions and case status

Ensure HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality at all times

Provide technical support related to pharmacy systems or patient portals

Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for process improvement

Support additional projects and initiatives as assigned
