Responsibilities

Plays a lead role in assisting to build a motivated and high performing branch team through the effective recruitment, training, and development of staff. Conducts regular and quarterly coaching and career development conversations. Proposes salary recommendations to Branch and Market Manager for approval. Responsible for sales and service coaching of branch staff and participating in the activities and results of the branch in achieving individual and team goals. Works with their manager to actively develop their decision making and business development skills to prepare for further leadership responsibilities
Works with Branch Manager and business partners to identify and establish new relationship opportunities at the scale and scope required for a high volume branch in terms of production, FTE and asset size. Has a working knowledge of both consumer and small business products and services; delivers solutions to customers through interactive, needs based conversations to assess and address their needs. Appropriately refers customers to business partners to meet current and future needs. Takes ownership to resolve customer issues and complaints while delivering an elevated level of responsiveness and customer satisfaction
Provides supervisory oversight of branch operations, compliance, and risk. Works with branch manager to ensure branch profitability by managing FTE’s, fee waivers and other budget related items. Oversees branch operations and compliance controls. Ensures team understanding and awareness of information security and fraud risk
Represents the bank in the local market fulfilling a leadership role with civic and community organizations

Required

4 year college degree or equivalent retail, retail banking, or financial services experience
3 years retail banking experience required
Leadership skills
Excellent listening & communication skills are necessary
Organizational, interpersonal and customer relation skills
Ability to function in a fast paced, ever-changing environment
Problem solving/decision making skills
PC Skills
NMLS Certification required or ability to obtain upon hire

Preferred

Business development & outside business sales experience preferred
