Responsibilities
Support and document IT security architecture processes, standards, and best practices
Develop and maintain training materials, documentation, and knowledge resources related to IT security and enterprise systems
Partner with IT architects, security engineers, system owners, and leadership to support secure system design and implementation
Assist in assessing security requirements during system acquisition, integration, and deployment
Help communicate security expectations, controls, and risk considerations to technical and non-technical stakeholders
Support risk management activities by tracking issues, mitigation plans, and compliance requirements
Participate in hands-on troubleshooting and implementation support until systems reach a steady state
Contribute to continuous improvement of IT and security-related training and lifecycle processes
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field required
5+ years of experience supporting Information Security or IT initiatives
7+ years of experience working within complex IT environments, preferably in healthcare or regulated industries
Experience supporting enterprise architecture, security programs, or large-scale IT initiatives
Strong communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, usable guidance
Experience working with cross-functional teams and driving adoption of IT standards and processes
Identity and Access Management (IAM)
Cloud, Network, and Data Security concepts
Attack Surface Management
SIEM and Log Management
AI and Security Applications
Familiarity with tools such as: Microsoft Sentinel, Cribl, Wiz, and Qualys
Preferred
Master's degree in Computer Science, Healthcare, or Business preferred
Some project coordination or project management experience preferred
