Responsibilities
Design and deploy AI software components including foundation model training and LLM inference
Leverage technologies such as AWS Ultraclusters, Huggingface, VectorDBs, and PyTorch
Implement LLM optimization techniques to improve scalability, cost, and latency in production
Partner with cross-functional teams of research scientists and product managers to deliver AI products
Contribute to the technical vision and long-term roadmap for foundational AI systems
Qualification
Required
Extensive experience in designing, developing, and supporting large-scale AI software components
Proficiency in utilizing Open Source and SaaS AI technologies for production systems
Ability to understand scientific publications and apply novel research techniques to engineering problems
Demonstrated experience in model evaluation, experimentation, governance, and observability
Strong collaboration skills to work across engineering and technical program management disciplines
