Responsibilities

Provide strategic leadership for Digital Experience initiatives at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln
Develops long-term strategy and executions for web-based initiatives, especially regarding user experience, social media, mobile initiatives and accessibility

Required

Bachelor's degree in communication, computer science, business or related field plus five years experience building user-centered websites required; equivalency considered

Knowledge of current technologies used in web and new media communication, including server technologies such as Apache or IIS, HTML (HTML5/ XHTML), Javascript, CSS (CSS3), MPEG formats, PHP and MySQL
Knowledge of audience research methods and the ability to conduct and report on research
