Responsibilities

Leads the identification, analysis and documentation of requirements for network transport technologies and services

Leads the design, implementation, and maintenance of the networks to ensure reliable and secure connectivity

Creates, implements, maintains and documents basic network designs that conform to architectural and security standards

Supports component/equipment research

Collects data to provide project cost estimates

Leads and coordinates high level implementation planning for strategic multi-technology insertion projects

Facilitates integration of new technologies and the transition from legacy systems to support business requirements

Diagnose and resolve network problems, including hardware, software, and connectivity issues

Required

Active Top Secret Clearance

9+ years related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience

Experience with Design, Implementation and Troubleshooting of Local Area Networks (LAN) and Wide Area Networks (WAN)

Experience with Cisco routers and switches & Cisco IOS implementations

Experience utilizing Transmission Control Protocol/Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) network protocols

This position requires an active U.S. Top Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required)

A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active

Ability to obtain SCI Access Post Start

Preferred

CCNA or other Cisco Certification

Security+ Certified (or similar certification meeting DoD Directive 8570.01 Certification Requirements)

SCI eligibility pre-hire highly preferred
