Responsibilities

Own and implement Data Quality (DQ) controls, including rule definition, implementation, ongoing monitoring, and reporting

Design and maintain Data Quality scorecards for assigned datasets

Develop a deep understanding of data definitions, domain values, data relationships, business rules, source systems, and data integration processes within the business domain

Monitor DQ alerts, investigate data issues, and perform root-cause analysis

Collaborate with data providers and business stakeholders to resolve data quality issues

Partner closely with Data Engineers to translate business requirements into technical solutions and remediate DQ issues

Support continuous improvement of data governance and data quality processes

Required

5+ years of professional experience in data quality, data governance, or related roles

Strong understanding of data governance frameworks and data quality controls

Hands-on experience implementing, monitoring, and reporting on DQ controls

Proven experience troubleshooting DQ issues and managing DQ alerts

Experience with Data Quality and Data Governance platforms (e.g., Collibra)

Strong knowledge of relational databases and data modeling concepts

Advanced SQL querying and data analysis skills

Experience working within the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)

Strong analytical skills with the ability to work independently

Excellent stakeholder management and presentation skills

Strong organizational, planning, verbal, and written communication skills

Graduate-level degree in computer science, engineering, or related technical field
