Responsibilities

Manage all aspects of Accounts Payable , including approvals, data entry, check processing, and mailing
Handle most Accounts Receivable functions, including invoicing and recording receivables
Assist with General Ledger activities, including posting recurring entries and reconciling accounts
Allocate expenses across related entities
Prepare daily bank deposits and weekly check runs
Record investment account activity
Perform monthly reconciliations of cash, A/R, A/P, and G/L using industry-specific software
Maintain organized financial and historical records
Assist with monthly budget monitoring and annual audits
Support the accounting team with additional tasks as needed
Answer and route phone calls professionally
Monitor and respond to general emails and voicemails
Coordinate office mail and shipments
Organize records, inventory, and office supplies
Provide administrative support for meetings and company functions
Draft correspondence when requested

Qualification

Required

1–3 years of bookkeeping experience (construction industry experience a plus)
Proficiency in Sage 100 or QuickBooks
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
Excellent organizational, communication, and multitasking skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
Professional, dependable, and customer-service oriented

Preferred

Bilingual in English & Spanish
