Responsibilities
Work with architects and contribute towards AWS cloud infra roadmaps, IaC Pipeline, security, reliability, supporting multiple environments
Conduct research to aid in product development and tools selection. Contributes to the development of new cloud platform automation and security principles and strategies
Articulate technical functionality of cloud platforms to multiple technical audiences
Educate and advise users on how to adopt the functionality of infrastructure platform products within their strategy and processes to achieve measurable value
Translate application team needs into technical solutions and product requirements
Influences decisions that impact critical long term IT strategy for organizational success
Provide thought leadership to ensure that systems and services are designed, and operating to achieve optimal levels of performance, reliability, and sustainability
Actively monitor key metrics, reports on trends, and make improvement recommendations
Participate in Engineering Community of Practice for your product(s)
Contribute to engineering automation, management, or development of production level systems
Review product roadmaps and guide intake acceptance for a set of production systems
Qualification
Required
Experience in cloud engineering, specifically with AWS
Strong knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles and tools
Experience with cloud account management and network connectivity
Ability to automate infrastructure builds
Experience in cost optimization and cybersecurity efforts
Strong collaboration skills to work with architects, engineers, and product managers
Ability to articulate technical functionality of cloud platforms to multiple technical audiences
Experience in translating application team needs into technical solutions and product requirements
Ability to influence decisions impacting long-term IT strategy
Experience in monitoring key metrics and making improvement recommendations
Experience in contributing to engineering automation and management of production-level systems
Ability to review product roadmaps and guide intake acceptance for production systems
