Product Support Specialist
Acro Service Corporation is seeking an experienced Product Support Specialist to join their Weapon Systems Test Team. This role involves managing technical tasks and collaborating with engineers and technicians on various programs, while fostering strong relationships within cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
Independently manage and execute assigned technical tasks and projects
Collaborate with engineers, technicians, and customers to resolve complex technical problems
Accept field assignments and travel to test locations as required
Take ownership of high-level technical problems and follow issues through to resolution
Maintain detailed documentation and reporting using MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Contribute to cross-functional teams and foster positive working relationships
Qualification
Required
Ability to obtain a DoD Secret Clearance
Proven ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned responsibilities
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Proficient in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Associate's degree (or equivalent) plus eight years of defense-related experience in engineering, manufacturing, design, test, or field service
Preferred
Shipboard equipment integration and testing
Experience with missile launching systems (e.g., Mk 41 VLS, Mk 57 VLS, Mk 70 Payload Delivery System, Aegis Ashore, VLS Canisters, Adaptable Deck Launching System)
Knowledge of instrumentation and data acquisition systems
Experience with weapons systems development, precision machining, and fabrication
Experience handling ammunition or explosive materials
Electrical and mechanical assembly, maintenance, and repair
Vehicle and power equipment maintenance and repair
