Advanced Practice Provider: Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant, Internal Medicine (Open Rank)
The University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join their Division of General Internal Medicine. The role involves providing primary care in a patient-centered medical home and participating in clinical research projects.

Responsibilities
Provide primary care for patients at a University of Colorado Hospital or CU Medicine Internal Medicine Clinic for the following appointment types: new, continuity, hospital/ED follow-up, acute, and annual/wellness exams
Provide care for empaneled patients as well as acute care for teammate’s patients as needed
Share responsibilities for night, weekend, and vacation coverage with other members of the group practice
There may be opportunities to serve as a preceptor for APP students
Qualification
Required
Master's degree as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
Licensed as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in the State of Colorado
Medicare/Medicaid credentials
Unrestricted DEA license
Board certified or board eligible as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
Two (2) or more years of professional experience in a primary care setting
Fellowships will count toward years of experience
Doctor of Nursing for a Nurse Practitioner or Master's degree as a Physician Assistant
Seven (7) or more years of professional experience in a primary care setting
Two (2) or more years of professional experience in an academic medicine primary care setting
A Master's degree and years of relevant experience may be substituted for the Doctor of Nursing degree
Preferred
Experience working with Epic or another EHR
Three (3) or more years of professional experience in a primary care setting
Fellowships will count toward years of experience
