Senior Manufacturing Engineer
W3Global is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to lead complex process development and continuous improvement initiatives across electronic and battery product lines. This role involves optimizing manufacturing processes and collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement robust manufacturing solutions and support new product introductions.

Responsibilities
Partner with manufacturing supervisors to design, develop, and improve manufacturing processes ensuring efficiency, repeatability, and compliance with AS9100 quality standards
Design and implement production tooling, jigs, and fixtures to support precision assembly and machining operations
Provide daily technical support to manufacturing operations, troubleshooting process variations, equipment issues, and nonconformances
Lead cross-functional initiatives with Quality, Production, and Supply Chain teams to reduce waste, improve workflow, and increase throughput using Lean and Six Sigma principles
Analyze manufacturing costs, identify cost drivers, and recommend process improvements or automation to improve efficiency
Lead root cause and corrective action (RCCA) investigations and implement corrective measures
Document and improve both existing and new manufacturing processes to ensure long-term process stability and repeatability
Manage the transition of new products from engineering development to full-scale production, including process validation and tooling readiness
Initiate and implement engineering change requests and orders
Collaborate with operations leadership to develop long-term manufacturing strategies aligned with business objectives, capacity planning, and technology roadmaps
Mentor junior engineers and technicians to promote technical excellence and professional growth
Champion a data-driven culture using process data and statistical analysis to identify trends, optimize production, and justify capital investments
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Aerospace, or Manufacturing Engineering
5-7 years of progressive manufacturing engineering experience in aerospace, defense, or other highly regulated industries
Experience with new product introduction (NPI)
Proficiency in developing process routings, work instructions, and PFMEAs
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization
Preferred
Master's degree in a related engineering discipline
Experience in an Operations or Manufacturing Leadership Program within a large or Fortune 500 company
Certification in Lean Six Sigma methodology
Aerospace manufacturing experience
Experience with robotics and process automation
