Process Controls Design Engineer
Rheo Engineering is a tight-knit group of innovators creating custom automated powder handling equipment for leading pharmaceutical companies. As a Process Controls Design Engineer, you will design and build advanced control systems for material handling and process equipment, collaborating on custom projects from the ground up.

Responsibilities
Collaborate with project managers to review and interpret user requirements
Create detailed Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P and IDs)
Select and specify instrumentation tailored to each unique system
Design controls panels for electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
Design electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic schematics
Design equipment network architecture
Perform other tasks as assigned by your supervisor from time to time
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related engineering field
5+ years of relevant work experience designing controls systems
Familiarity with Allen Bradley Products
Direct and proven experience in designing electrical/pneumatic/hydraulic systems
Direct and proven experience in designing VFD and Motor control
Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams, Visio)
Proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical
Familiarity with Autodesk Inventor

Experience and understanding of Hazardous Location requirements and protection methods
