Responsibilities
Lead the definition and prioritization of SAP features by aligning business goals with technical feasibility
Serve as the primary IT liaison to Finance, Engineering, and Supply Chain teams to ensure goal alignment
Direct the execution of SAP development cycles, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and with proactive risk mitigation strategies in place
Gather and translate complex financial needs into clear technical specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria to ensure seamless execution by the development team
Deliver regular reporting on project status, key performance metrics, and strategic decisions to senior management and the broader Finance community
Provide deep technical knowledge of SAP FICO modules and their integration points with SD, MM, PP, and HR, as well as a fundamental understanding of Workflows, IDOCs, and EDI
Drive optimizations across the finance landscape, including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Treasury, Tax, General Ledger, Corporate Accounting, Supply Chain Finance, and Fixed Assets
Manage and develop a team of direct reports and contractors
Manage cost center budgets, capital expenditures, and expense forecasts while maintaining flexibility to handle multiple shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment
Build and maintain strong partnerships with IT colleagues and business customers to consistently meet and exceed expected service levels
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
7–10 years of overall experience, with at least 5 years specifically in SAP FICO functional or related IT roles
Proven experience managing a team, with strong skills in leadership, communication, and personnel development
Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and the SAP product development lifecycle
Data-driven mindset with the ability to interpret user feedback and system data to drive improvements
Customer-centric and innovative thinker with a focus on long-term IT strategy and S/4HANA evolution
Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage complex organizational tasks
Experience managing cost center budgets as well as project-specific capital and expense (CAPEX/OPEX) forecasts
