Responsibilities
Develop, integrate, and maintain new or existing applications within the technical infrastructure and business processes
Provide technical or functional guidance to project teams as needed within your area of expertise
Collaborate closely with Business Systems Analysts to analyze, design, develop, test, debug, implement, and enhance reliable and efficient systems or web applications
Write, update, and maintain full-stack applications aligned with existing hardware and business workflows
Develop Power BI dashboards, structure SQL databases, integrate APIs, automate workflows, and support cloud development initiatives
Lead application development and integration projects, ensuring alignment with business needs
Troubleshoot complex system issues and deliver effective solutions
Mentor junior developers and contribute to Agile project planning and execution
Ensure all development work complies with industry standards, security policies, and best practices
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field required
6-10 years of experience in application development, cloud computing, and enterprise software architecture
Proficiency in SQL, Python, Power BI, Java, .NET, AWS, and other cloud technologies
Familiarity with Agile methodologies, software development lifecycle, and Scrum ceremonies
Knowledge of DevOps practices, cloud automation, ERP integration, CI/CD pipelines, and microservices architecture
Experience with SCADA operations, AWS Glue, Lambda, SNS, SQS, and Power BI dashboarding
Strong understanding of security, compliance, and regulatory requirements, including SOX and cybersecurity best practices
Preferred
Master's or PhD in Data Science, Computer Science, Finance, Engineering, or Applied Mathematics
5+ years of experience in machine learning or advanced analytics, including at least 2 years in energy, power, or commodities markets
Certifications in AWS, Microsoft Power BI, Salesforce, IT Project Management (PMP, Agile, SAFe), or DevOps methodologies preferred
