The Primary Therapist is responsible for providing high-quality care and therapeutic services to individuals dealing with various behavioral issues, facilitating therapy sessions, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to deliver effective interventions.

Responsibilities

Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations to determine clients' needs

Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings

Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including individual, group, and family therapy

Monitor and document clients' progress and adjust treatment plans to create a cohesive case conceptualization

Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists, social workers, and medical doctors, to provide comprehensive care

Completes suicide risk assessment within identified time frames and with appropriate thoroughness and scoring while consulting with clinical leaders

Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and case reviews determining length of stay and level of care

Assess and identify community resources based on clients needs during treatment/ aftercare planning

Adhere to all standardized Group Curriculum and Treatment Planning

Educate clients and their families about mental health and behavioral issues while building supportive and trusting relationships

Comes prepared to weekly clinical supervision with relevant client updates, case formulations, and questions to support high-quality care

Adhere to all confidentiality and ethical guidelines as outlined by professional standards and laws

Stay updated on the latest research and developments in behavioral therapy and mental health

Identify with Guidelight Health’s Mission, Vision and Values

Provide clinical supervision to Associate Licensed clinicians as appropriate/needed

Ability to serve as point of contact for emergencies if/when Executive Director is offsite

Participate in the hiring process of teammates as well as serving as mentor for new therapists

Qualification

Valid state licensureBehavioral therapy experiencePsychological assessmentsGroup facilitation experienceMaster's degree

Required

A master's degree in psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field

Valid state licensure in the state applicable (Add appropriate acronyms)

Experience in behavioral therapy and counseling

Preferred

Relevant PHP/IOP experience

Group Facilitation experience
