Responsibilities
Must have leadership qualities in order to directly manage employees within your department
Responsible for ensuring proper, efficient and consistent workflow throughout the department and editing through proper education and or follow up and training
Carries our management responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws as well as setting a standard of conduct through examples and actions
Responsible for ensuring day-to-day department operation objectives as well as meeting goals in production and breakage areas
You will be responsible for interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; auditing performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems, scheduling or approving paid time off as needed
Assign, monitor, and maintain employee tasks and production and report production daily on spreadsheet as well as to appropriate supervisors or managers
Monitor your employees’ working hours, time off, and provide final approval for bi-weekly payroll
Qualification
Required
Must have at least one year of optical experience
3 years of leadership experience preferably in a manufacturing environment
Must have good computer skills
Working knowledge of standard computer equipment
Must have leadership qualities in order to directly manage employees within your department
