Responsibilities
Design and develop engineering solutions to meet project specifications and requirements
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including technicians, project managers, and other engineers, to ensure successful project completion
Conduct detailed engineering analyses and evaluations to identify areas for improvement and optimize performance
Perform calculations, simulations, and modeling to support the design and development process
Prepare and review engineering documentation, including technical drawings, specifications, and reports
Collaborate with procurement and sourcing teams to select and evaluate materials, components, and suppliers
Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and best practices throughout the engineering process
Conduct testing and validation of engineering solutions to ensure functionality, safety, and reliability
Provide technical guidance and support to technicians
Stay updated with industry trends, advancements, and emerging technologies to continuously improve engineering practices
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 5 years of experience in engineering within the manufacturing industry
Strong knowledge and expertise in engineering principles, methodologies, and techniques
Proficient in using engineering software, tools, and CAD programs; AutoCAD, Inventor or SolidWorks, required
Proven track record of successfully completing engineering projects on time and within budget
Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and propose effective solutions
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively convey technical information and collaborate with cross-functional teams
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in all work performed
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field preferred or an associate's degree with mechanical design experience
Experience in conveyors preferred
2+ years of experience working with Smart Sheets or iLogic, preferred
Minimum of 1 year's experience working with Vault, preferred
Professional Engineering (P.E.) license or relevant certifications are preferred
