Responsibilities

Design and implement scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using GCP tools like Dataflow, Pub/Sub, and Cloud Run

Build and maintain data models, warehouses, and lakes to support analytics and reporting

Optimize BigQuery performance and cost through query tuning, partitioning, and clustering

Ensure data security and compliance via IAM roles, encryption, and network controls

Collaborate across teams to deliver high-quality, governed data solutions and automate deployments with CI/CD

Required

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field

8+ years of experience in data engineering, with at least 3 years of hands-on expertise in GCP services including BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Cloud Run, Dataflow, Cloud SQL, AlloyDB, Cloud Balancer, Pub/Sub, IAM, Logging, and Monitoring

Proficient in SQL, Python, and Linux scripting, with prior experience using ETL tools such as Datastage, Informatica, and SSIS

Skilled in data modeling (star/snowflake), data warehouse architecture, and cloud-native analytics

Familiar with CI/CD pipelines, Git version control, and Infrastructure as Code using Terraform

Demonstrates strong analytical thinking, problem-solving ability, and effective communication in agile, fast-paced environments
