WEISS North America, Inc. is a leading provider of engineering and design services specializing in mechanical hardware solutions. They are seeking an Assembler to perform mechanical assembly tasks, interpret blueprints, and maintain quality standards in production.

Responsibilities
Assemble simple to complex mechanical assemblies per specification by interpreting blueprints and drawings while following manufacturing processes and procedures
Identify the necessary tooling and equipment to perform assigned operation
Inspect parts, as necessary using the proper measuring tools. Micrometers, calipers, etc
Maintain proper project documentation
Operate a tow motor on a as need to basis, operate and overhead crane as need be
Must be able to work independently with little supervision
Provided strong customer support on a as need basis
Assist in maintaining the highest quality of product provided by IPS
Perform other miscellaneous job duties and related functions as directed
Qualification
Required
1+ years' experience in mechanical assembly work
Strong mechanical aptitude
Great organizational skills
Proficiency reading blueprints
High school diploma or GED
Minimum of one year of mechanical assembly work
Advanced ability to read and interpret assembly drawings and specifications
Intermediate math skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks with a sense of urgency
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
Well organized with an aptitude for details
Experience with using different types of pneumatic, electrical, and hand tools
Able to stand or walk for the majority of the day and able to lift 40lbs on a needed basis and up to 75 pounds with assistance
Able to regularly apply physical mobility (stretching, lifting, bending, twisting, etc.) to perform all assembly related assignments
Preferred
Machining experience and knowledge is a plus
