Responsibilities

Support high-volume recruiting activities for government contracting roles
Assist with sourcing, screening, and engaging candidates for current and future hiring needs
Help build and maintain pipelines of qualified candidates, even when no openings are available
Enter, track, and maintain candidate information in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
Assist with tracking recruiting activity, metrics, and KPIs
Use tools such as Excel, Power BI, or similar applications to support recruiting reports and data analysis
Coordinate with recruiters and hiring managers to understand staffing needs and priorities
Help ensure a positive and professional candidate experience throughout the recruiting process
Learn and follow compliance requirements related to government contracting recruitment
Support continuous improvement of recruiting processes and workflows

Required

Approved or eligible for participation in the DoD SkillBridge Program
Strong interest in recruiting, talent acquisition, or human resources
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
Basic familiarity with data tracking, spreadsheets, or reporting tools (Excel preferred)
Willingness and ability to learn ATS platforms, KPIs, and recruiting systems
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Professional, welcoming demeanor and positive attitude
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to adapt quickly and manage changing priorities
Approval from your unit commander and SkillBridge coordinator
Must be within final 180 days of active-duty service
Ability to work full-time during the internship period
